Strawberry Shortcake
Ingredients
2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup cold butter
2/3 cup milk
2 cups sliced strawberries
2 tbsp sugar (for berries)
Whipped cream for topping
Directions
Preheat oven to 425°F. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in milk until dough forms.
Drop by spoonfuls on baking sheet; bake 12–15 minutes.
Toss strawberries with sugar.
Slice shortcakes and layer with strawberries and whipped cream.
