Gluten Free Italian Powder Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3 cups of softened butter

  • 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract

  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream

  • 1 cup of cut of chocolate

  • 4 cups of powdered sugar

  • 3/4 cup of cocoa powder

Directions

  1. In a small bowl, mix together 30 grams of milk, 3 grams of yeast and 1 egg.

  2. In a large bowl, mix together 270 grams of gluten free flour, 140 grams of butter, cut into large pieces and 5 grams of granulated sugar. Use your hands to clump the mixture together.

  3. Add the wet ingredients and use hands to form a dough.

  4. Refrigerate the dough for 30 minutes.

  5. Form equal size balls.

  6. Move cookies to a parchment lined cookie tray.

  7. Bake at 350 F for 25 minutes.

  8. Roll cookies in powdered sugar.

  9. Let cookies cool and roll them again in powdered sugar.
